Based in Glasgow, Caraidean Ceilidh Band,one of the city’s top ceilidh bands, play regularly at ceilidhs throughout Strathclyde, Ayrshire and Edinburgh, but cover all of Scotland and the North of England. A great range of traditional Ceilidh, plus a little extra!
We tailor the dances that we play to the function that you are having. For example at a Student Ceilidh we would be likely to play more faster set dances, whereas at a birthday party we may play more of a mixture of fast and slower dances to suit the mix of people present. We are always happy to take special requests and to make sure that we play your favourites!
Weddings

We love playing at weddings, and with the core of the band (Jonas and Aileen) being a married couple, we understand just how special and important this wonderful day of your life is to you!
